What do you mean by products specifically sized for garden rooms?
We’ve worked with garden room companies for years so overtime we’ve learned what sizes & products are best suited for an external garden room. Door heights of 1950mm ensure that the garden room can be built without needing planning permission. We also place trickle vents in the head of all the doors because the garden rooms are airtight the tickle vents prevent air resistance when the doors are closed. We offer a full height fixed window as cost effective way to bring natural light into the space, plus a variety of window sizes & single & French doors for quick & easy access out of the garden room.
Do garden rooms need to have windows?
Garden rooms don’t need to have windows, but they are nice to have. You want to use your garden room all year around so it won’t always be practical to have the doors open, a window therefore can be used to allow ventilation into the room, plus more natural light of course.
Can you order French doors and windows instead of a bi-folding door to complete a garden room?
Yes, you can. A bi-folding door brings a real wow factor for single or French doors can be used to instead for access inside & out, they will be preferable if the garden room is small or is used for additional space that doesn’t need a seamless connection to the garden. French doors & single doors are a much more cost-effective option than a bi-folding door.
Can the garden room products be ordered in any colour?
All our garden room products are available in RAL 7016 anthracite grey only. Our sister Company Express Bi-Folding Doors offers bespoke options where products in any size and colour can be ordered along with a survey & fitting service.
