The thermal performance has been optimised to make it suitable for extensions in domestic properties. Typical U value with 1.0 glass ranges from 1.39W/m2k down to an impressive 1.14W/m2K. The larger the roof lantern, the more thermally efficient the overall product becomes.
The roof is made up of fewer spars, meaning less leakage points.
Our Eos range is a complete aluminium roof system boasting a thermally broken aluminium ridge body. Sleeved low profile eaves rider rail and aluminium glazing bar and top caps.

No, the roof is designed around minimum sightlines and maximum glass so we have not designed a vent for the product.

The upstand needs to be a minimum height of 150mm to comply with building regulations and a recommended minimum depth of 70mm.

No, the upstand needs to be built and prepared on site before you carry out the installation. Upon order the roof lantern we will send an easy to understand drawing to build the upstand specifically for the sized roof lantern that you have ordered.

We offer toughened low E glass with as standard in our EOS roof lantern glazing coupled with an Advance Roof Blue coating for solar control. You can also upgrade your glass to a shatter proof laminated inner pane.

Yes, you can have a different colour on the inside and the outside.

No, the EOS roof have not been tested for a point load on any part of the structure of the roof or the possibility of the roof becoming live.

Yes, due to the engineering of the roof it is a very straight forward product to install. We will provide full instructions on how to install the roof and it can be installed in well under one hour.
