Expertly manufactured in our Head Office site in Leeds we use the best materials to create a stunning flat rooflight that looks great, is easy to install and guaranteed against defects for ten years. The XP Sky View is a feature product that is perfect for flat roofs, externally it looks sleek and modern but it is internally where the benefits are really seen.

Natural light will pour in from above making the interior space feel bigger & much lighter. The connection with the interior space is achieved by the glass meeting the interior walls with no visible framework creating literally a frameless roof window that will enhance any space.

The XP Skyview Skylight is factory glazed so arrives on site fully built-up and ready to install. We also include a scaffold tower in every installation. For large sized skylights we’ll send a team of up to four installers for ease of handling & health and safety.

Glazed with 6mm TGH softcoat low E glass you have the peace of mind of toughened safety glass combined with a thermally efficient coating that will keep heat inside your home.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

The XP SkyView is a great addition to your flat roof, bringing abundant natural light into your home without sight-lines or visible frames. They are also factory-glazed with a 30mm argon-filled and soft coat low-E insulating glass unit. As a result, XP Skyview models easily surpass the minimum requirements of building regulations. Boasting exceptional performance, internal fixings for added security and flexible glazing options our flat sky lights are a sound investment in your home.

AVAILABLE IN RAL 7016

The XP Sky View is produced in RAL 7016 anthracite grey as standard as the neutral colour is a perfect complement to the membranes used to keep flat roof’s watertight. RAL colour 9005 Jet Black is available as an option for the external finish to compliment your existing doors and windows and can be priced on application.

The largest XP SkyView we stock & offer is 1000mm x 2000mm.
The product can manufactured to be bigger sizes the bespoke sizes are only available through our full service offering that can be seen on www.expressbifolds.co.uk

The flat skylight needs to sit on a timber upstand with a five degree pitch. Upon ordering we will send you information on the upstand required but it is straight forward to build in preparation for the skylight but it needs to be a minimum of 150mm high to satisfy building regulations and 90mm thick for the roof to sit on.
The five degree pitch is also key as the skylight can’t hold water pooling on top of it, the pitch ensures that rain water runs off the skylight.

Because the roof needs to sit on a purpose built upstand the XP Sky View can be installed onto flat roofs & even pitched roofs up to a pitch 25 degrees.

Yes, as standard we use high performance 6mm double glazing but laminated glass on the inner pane is available on request.

Yes, two people are needed to receive and install the product. You also need to give consideration as to how you will safely get the skylight up onto the roof so a scaffold tower or similar is essential.
